Our tackle shop at Silver King Lodge is stocked with all of the necessary top-notch tackle to ensure you land fish and avoid tackle failures. When fishing with us it is not necessary to bring any tackle with you. We have everything you need; this eliminates the hassles for guests when traveling and eliminates the need to carry on or check large rod tubes and terminal tackle. We have an impressive line of Penn rods and reels, TFO fly rods, Tibor fly reels, and all other necessary lures, jigs, flies, etc. to get the fish on your line.

Our Tarpon fishery at Silver King is very unique, as this area is home to a very large population of resident, non-migratory tarpon population. And the best part is the Silver King Lodge is just minutes away from the action! This allows Silver King Lodge to operate year-round with giant tarpon always lurkiing nearby.

This area is not only home to Giant Tarpon, but also holds large populations of Snook, Tripletail, Cuberra Snapper, Jack Crevelle, Barracudas, and other smaller hard-fighting species such as Rainbow Bass, Mojarra, Machaca, and Alligator Gar. There is enough variety that you often don't know what's on the other end of your line! And we're even able to go offshore to target species such as Tuna, Atlantic Sailfish, and Wahoo. But Silver King Lodge is most well-known for Giant Tarpon and that is the ultimate prize for the majority of our guests. And honestly, we can't blame them since Tarpon is one most ferocious, acrobatic, hardest fighting fish on the planet.
